THE CROWN Cancel Glasgow Gig

March 13, 2003

Swedish thrashers THE CROWN, recently rejoined by original vocalist Johan Lindstrand, have been forced to cancel their gig in Glasgow "due to a mix-up in communication between the U.K. agent and the U.K. venues," according to an official statement from Metal Blade Records. "As it turns out the Glasgow show was on Monday (not on Tuesday as the agent was told) and the Cardiff gig on Tuesday. The distance Vosselaar-Glasgow is too big a distance to travel in just one night."

THE CROWN will enter Gotheburg's Studio Fredman on May 5 for the recording and mixing of the follow-up to 2002's "Crowned In Terror", tentatively due in early September through Metal Blade Records.
